I write about what it takes to understand people, and to help them get clear on from what to build to what to leave behind, and more. Some of that is product discovery and the craft of user research. Some of it comes from another part of my life entirely: my work as a death doula, and what I'm learning about grief, caregiving, and community. Underneath all of it is the same question, how do we truly understand and see each other?

Some of it is for founders and product teams navigating the hard questions: what to build, who it's really for, and how to know if you're getting it right. Some of it is for UX practitioners figuring out their next move in a field that's changing fast. And some of it is about being human: connection, community, love, loss, and what matters most in life. It's all one person, and it's all connected through the thread of human-centeredness.

These days I publish first on Substack, where most of my writing now lives and where it's easiest to follow along. I also cross-post to Medium, so you can read me there if that's already your home.
